Athamanio

Athamanio has a dominant position between the villages of the municipality Athamania. Built in an altitude of 760m. it unfolds the beauty of causing the viewer to wander into impressive landscapes and unique images. The houses with courtyards and thoughtful vines, starting from above, at the foot of East Tzoumerka, creating an extensive residential complex, surrounded by trees and gardens. East and west, other slopes covered with fir trees create a magical landscape for visitors. Worth a look from the wooden gazebo at Agia Kyriaki and even higher than the position "Stavros", with its spectacular panoramic views. In the center of Athamania the large paved square, with shops and the parish church of the Assumption, stands a plane tree.
